Not exactly the ingredients of a gourmet omelette, but they'd do. And she did have actual bread, so there were no stale tortillas involved!
So a few minutes later he was back, carefully balancing a tray with a couple of plates of omelettes and toast, as well as coffee for Verity and tea for himself.
"Figured since I was up anyway, might as well take care of the food question," he explained.
