MHA #6, Valentine's Day Evening

It was Valentine's Day and while it wasn't their first Valentine's Day together, the last one had still been early enough on that neither of them had really known what they were doing. As a couple. This time, however, 'I love you's' had been exchanged and so had keys, he'd met her family, he hadn't run screaming from her family, and he'd even rescued her from a snake cult. Those were a lot of relationship milestones right there, even if some were Price-exclusive.

So tonight she'd sent the mice off to gorge on cake and cheese in their closet in the spare room, turned the lights to dim, turned some slow music on, and started cooking dinner. The one flaw in her holiday plans so far was that she'd naively assumed that 'an ability to cook basic food' meant that she was fully qualified to cook elaborate romantic meals.

She was vastly learning that this was in error.

"What? Emulsify? I've got a spatula and a slotted spoon, how the hell am I supposed to do that?!"

Well, if he was being entirely honest, the real answer was 'all of the above'. But yes, he'd absolutely meant that last one; wanting, needing to be surrounded by her.

Her hands gripped his thighs and she gracefully slid into a kneeling position in front of him, not missing a stroke. Verity glanced up, meeting his eyes briefly, full of warmth and a gleeful satisfaction.

He grinned back at her, his own expression besotted and adoring as his eyes met hers, hips bucking slightly.

Verity moaned, low in her throat, accommodating his movements with an easy shift of her head, her lips wrapped around his length.

She worked him over for another few minutes before pulling away, standing up in front of him. "Think we should move this party?" she asked with bright red lips, "or you wanna stay right here for Round One?"

Liam looked up at her, his eyes heavy-lidded with desire. "Bed," he decided, pushing himself up to meet her. "Bed, and let's get you out of all this," he added, fingers trailing along the strap of her tank top.

"Only if you promise to peel it off me," Verity said, pulling his hand down to cup her breast through the fabric. That single caress felt good enough to curl her toes.

“Promise,” Liam practically purred. His fingers traced the curve of her breast as he leaned in, unable to resist those bright red lips any longer.

Verity led him backwards out of the living room and down the hall, lips never leaving his. Navigating to the bed was harder, considering the stuff on the floor, but they managed, Verity laying down on the mattress and pulling him down on top of her.

It helped that they had a reasonable amount of practice at this particular maneuver by now.

Liam's hands slid under the hem of her tank top, and he broke the kiss just long enough to pull it up over her head and toss it on the floor.

She hadn't bothered to replace her bra, something he'd likely noticed even with her tanktop on, but now that the fabric was gone, Verity's nipples perked up, demanding attention.

Why yes he had noticed, and was in fact going to pay them some much-deserved attention. He pressed a kiss to the right side of her collarbone before moving to the breast below it, catching her nipple between his teeth and exerting a gentle amount of pressure.

Verity moaned, lacing her hands through his hair. "Keep this up," she said, though making words happen was harder than she would have liked to admit, "and you're not going to get your other Valentine's Day present."

"Hm?" Liam made an inquiring noise, increasing that pressure just a bit, while the fingers of his left hand reached up to mirror the action with her other nipple.

"I...got something. From that store downtown." The girl there had seemed very excited to have an on-person customer, too. "Got it on a whim? Figured it would either be your thing or it'd be something we could have a good laugh over."

She wrapped a leg around his waist and ground against him.

Well, his curiosity was definitely piqued, no lie. But he was hardly going to stop, curiosity or not, unless and until she told him to.

Though that grinding was reminding him that she still had those sweatpants on, and he was not quite good enough of a multitasker to manage slipping those off her and continuing to play with her nipples.

Funny enough, she also wasn't wearing anything under those sweatpants. Which Liam was about to discover, even as she was groaning in sympathy with her abandoned nipples.

"Tell you what," she said as he slid her pants down, down, down. "You take care of me, then I'll show you what I got. Either we try it out...or you get to decide how you wanna finish instead." She grinned at him. "Nothing's off the table."

"Sounds like a win all around," Liam agreed. "I like it."

Pants discarded, Liam slid back up, easing himself inside of her as hands- and lips- returned to finish what they'd started.

Verity moaned, wrapping both legs back around him this time. "You sure...you're gonna be able to stop?" she asked as she rocked against him, whole body alight.

"... No," he admitted, breath ghosting across her nipple. "But we've got all night."

"Oooh, I like that even better," Verity said, her hands carding through his hair. "Gonna be a long evening then?"

"Mmm," Liam confirmed. "Maybe it's a good thing we skipped dinner after all. Give us more time to fit everything in."

"You got plenty you need to fit in as it is," Verity said, leering at him.

Because yes, mid-coitus was the perfect time for a dirty joke.

Sure it was! ... If you were these two.

"So far so good," Liam reported, shifting slightly so he could lean up to kiss her because really, how could he not when she was leering all suggestively at him?

It was a moral imperative, really.

She smiled up at him when he finally pulled away, rolling her hips under his. "Liam," she murmured. "Don't stop. Not till I'm screaming your name."

That smile of hers made his heart flutter, even as his movements increased in their intensity. Far be it for him to ignore a directive like that, after all.
